The specialisation in Production Design allows students to improve their professional abilities in movie and television scenography and to add new variations to their own artistic expression. The programme refines abilities in the creation of impressive and highly visual designs that can be easily used both in artistic displays and in the production of entertainment. Students are also encouraged to find new artistic and technical methods.
Theoretical studies and practical research projects help stimulate conceptual thinking in stage design. In addition, research based on each student’s own artistic area serves as a basis for developing analytical and logical thinking. Individual work on both visual and written projects allows students to refine their own theoretical point of view. Electives allow students to concentrate on strengthening their specialisations or to diversify by participating in projects from alternative areas and choose courses from other specialised subjects such as
the history of style, costume design, architecture or animation.
This programme will not accept new students in 2012.
The application period for the two-year Master of Arts degree programmes is 2 January - 15 February, 2012.
