These are the fundamental characteristics of the Bachelor´s Degree Program in International Business (also called the BScBA Degree Program) offered at the Mikkeli Campus.
The BScBA degree can be obtained in three years. Courses are offered in three-week modules, meeting three hours a day, five days a week. The intense modular format of the classes is designed to foster dynamic interaction among students and professors.
The learning environment in Mikkeli not only helps students develop a knowledge base and set of professional skills, it provides a firm foundation for advanced academic study (in Master’s programs in Finland or abroad) or for entering the global marketplace.
The BScBA Degree Program – taught entirely in English – is international in every respect. The faculty is highly international, coming from many different parts of the world. The students include Finns interested in other cultures as well as foreign degree and exchange students from around the globe. An important feature of the academic program is that students are expected to study in a foreign university for one semester.
