N5TeAM

Applied and Engineering Mathematics

Study mathematics and problem solving at two Nordic universities, graduate with a double degree and gain all-round mathematical skills!

The central subjects in the new Applied and Engineering Mathematics (N5TeAM) programme are the theories of ordinary and partial differential equations, numerical methods for differential equations, probability and statistics, numerical linear algebra, optimization and discrete mathematics. The focal point is to learn to turn the engineering and applied science problems into mathematical questions, and to look for their solutions.

Since this is a Nordic Five Tech (N5T) programme, students study at two different Nordic universities:

  • Aalto University School of Science (Aalto SCI), Finland
  • The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden
  • Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden
  • The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway
  • Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Denmark
